WeÕre on the Web!
The back
is black. I used a yard stick and white chalk to make the web. I drew spiders
and laminated each one. Each spider has the name of the classes that I teach. |
|
Celebrate Freedom I printed
off pictures of from Sept. 11. I also had pictures of other memorable events
in US history. Using a die cut machine, I made leaves in red, white, and blue
colors. I also designed a tree to symbolize that no matter when "we all
can celebrate freedom." People in my school have really enjoyed this
bulletin board. |

Brush Up
On The Internet (coming) I first
made the paint cans and paint spills. I used the images of a motherboard as a
background for my title. Each paint can has a different internet abbreviation
on it with a matching puddle. I wrote on the paint cans with a wipe off
marker in case I would ever like to change them. |
Now Playing! (Picture coming!) I made enough
star cutouts to represent each classroom that I have. I also made something
you might find on the set of a film being recorded. It was a fun board to make.
Some year I might add a cup with popcorn to it. |

Oh the
Places, You'll go! (Coming) The backdrop
included a blue sky with clouds and a sun. There were rolling hills with a
winding blacktop road in the center. I made town signs but instead of writing
the name of the town, I wrote a website that was grade specific. There were 4
different website signs, one for each grade that I teach at that school. I
painted a picture similar to the cover of the Dr. Seuss book with the same
title to be used for the paper for the letters. I made a couple cars to
travel down this road. I found this idea from another website. |
Optical IllusionsThird graders visit a website that has online Optical Illusion exhibits.
